Description:
China’s investment in Latin America is changing.  After becoming a major source of capital flows to Latin America and the Caribbean over the past 15 years, a more diverse range of investors has surfaced, interested in more than simply channeling resources towards infrastructure, governments and state companies.  The panel will provide an overview of China’s major transactions and examine trends in Latin America with Chinese investment projects in emerging markets.  The panel will also discuss potential opportunities for investors in the U.S., and how to navigate risks and other strategic considerations.
