Yuen, a New York-based world-renowned expert of Daoism and Chinese medicine, will help us unpack the benefits and growth of classical Chinese medicine in today’s modern world.

Jeffrey C. Yuen
Jeffrey C. Yuen comes from two Daoist traditions (ShangQing and QuanZhen schools) and apprenticed in the field of Chinese medicine from the Daoist priest Yu Wen and physician Jiang Song-Liu. He was the first recipient of the Educator of the Year Award conferred by American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM). Dr. Yuen lectures nationally and abroad to various schools and colleges of Chinese medicine. He has been instrumental in the revival and promotion of Classical Chinese medicine in the U.S., Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Latvia.

Betty Ming Liu is a life coach who helps people transform their childhood and early traumas. She is also a former New York Daily News columnist who currently teaches journalism, creative writing, and communication at New York University, The New School, and Westchester Community College. She has served on the boards of the Museum of Chinese in America and New York State’s Board of Acupuncture, and is a founding member of the Asian American Journalists Association’s New York chapter.
